Work Day /All levels     Teacher: Birgit or Mynet

Come in and work on those UFOs - with help from the teacher if you need it. Five solid hours of sewing & fun!  Bring your meal or order out.  Dates: 9/11 AM & PM, 9/18 AM, 9/30 AM, 10/9 AM & PM, 10/23 AM & PM, 10/28 AM, 11/20 AM & PM, 12/4 AM & PM.  AM - 10AM-3PM, PM - 5PM-10PM.  Class Fee: $15 per session.

Easy Projects/All levels           Teacher:  Kim Kahanic

These classes will focus on projects that are quick and easy to complete, but that also may teach you some new techniques.   Dates:  10/1, 11/5 & 12/3.  Time: 6PM-8:30PM.  Class fee:  $15/session.  Patterns may be required.

Fusible Applique            Teacher: Mynet Feinburg

You can bring any fusible applique pattern to this class!  The technique will be the same, so get out that pattern you've been hiding away - this is so easy, anyone can do it!   Date/Time:  9/23  10AM-3PM.  Class fee: $15.

Easy Paper Piecing          Teacher: Mynet Feinburg

Learn this easy technique to make stunning quilts!  Date/Time: ___.  11AM-2PM.  Class Fee: $20 (includes materials).

Bright Baby Quilt                Teacher: Kim Kahanic

This great quilt from the book "Quilting for Baby" by Jeanne Stauffer & Sandra Hatch, is quick & easy, and can be done in any fabrics you wish -brights are great, as well as pastels!  Date/Time: 10/3.  10AM-2PM. Class Fee: $25.

Quilt As You Go                Teacher: Birgit Hanson

Learn this great technique & take the stress out of quilting!  You quilt each block first & then join them together.  Date/Time:  10/12  9AM-11:30AM.  Class Fee:  $15.

Punch Needle Embroidery          Teacher: Anne Carlson

This class is back by request.  Come on in & learn how to do punch needle embroidery - a great way to use up all of your embroidery floss!  Please let us know in advance if you need a needle.  Date/Time: 9/25: 10AM-12:30PM.  Class Fee: $15.

Crazy Quilt Wall Hanging         Teacher: Mynet Feinburg

Have you always wanted to make a crazy quilt?  This is really easy & the fun really begins when you add embellishments - ribbons, appliques, embroidery stitches - and, you can hand embroider, or use those great stitches on your sewing machine!  Collect your cottons, velvets, satins & other fun fabrics & get ready to have a blast!  Date/Time:  10/24  9AM-3PM.  Class Fee: $30.

Rangely Star                   Teacher: Kim Kahanic

This great star pattern was designed by a friend of Kim's & now she's teaching it to you!  Date/Time: 11/14.  11AM-3PM.  Class Fee: $25.

Free Motion Machine Quilting     Teacher: Mynet Feinburg

Learn the basic skills & tips needed for stippling & other free motion quilting techniques.  Date/Time:  11/21.  9AM-11:30AM.  Class Fee: $15.

Stash Buster Quilt             Teacher: Kim Kahanic

This quilt is perfect for using scraps out of your stash, fat quarters - whatever you want!  A very easy, addictive quilt to make.  Date/Time: 12/5.  11AM-3PM.  Class Fee: $30.

Nickel Quilts                  Teacher: Birgit Hanson

Make any one of the quilts in any of the three Pat Sloan books, "Nickel Quilts", "More Nickel Quilts" or "Amazing Nickel Quilts".  Birgit will help you with Pat's great techniques for making incredible quilts from 5" pieces.  Date/Time:  11/11  10AM-3PM.  Class Fee: $30.

Charm Party Tote              Teacher: Anne Carlson

Make this great tote from one of those charm packs you've been saving, or from your own stash of charms.  This can be made in a variety of sizes & Anne can show you how it's done!  Date/Time:  ___ 10AM-1PM.  Class Fee: $15.

All classes require a sewing machine unless otherwise indicated.  We have Bernina sewing machines available at the shop, so if you need to use one, please reserve it when registering.  Materials list are available at least 2 weeks prior to the class.  Students receive a 10% discount on all regularly priced supplies, required books and patterns.  Fabric kits are always available upon request.  Class fee due at registration. 

Refunds will be made if the teacher cancels the class.  Students who cancel at least one week prior to the class will receive a refund. 

Is there a class you'd like to take that's not on our list?  Let us know & we'll try and get it scheduled.  Find at least two friends to take it with you and we'll schedule it especially for you!
